ashley.n: My name is Ashley and I am a third year communication major at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This blog will focus on female empowerment and informing those who may not typically listen to female musicians of new and former artists. This will be done through the music I have found inspiring or simply enjoy. I listen to all types of music and hope to share my feminist ideals through what I choose to share on here. At times, I may even critique a certain artist who appears to be feminist but in reality is not and why this is problematic.
